View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] The KOSPI is maintaining a steady range around the 3300 level without significant fluctuations. The KOSDAQ is also holding steady in the 1010 range.
As of 2 PM on the 28th, the KOSPI recorded 3299.9, down 0.16% from the previous trading day. After a slightly firm opening, it has been fluctuating around the 3300 level. It rose to as high as 3311.69 in the morning but also dropped to 3291.30.
By investor type, individual investors were the sole net buyers, purchasing 409 billion KRW worth. Foreigners and institutions were net sellers, offloading 164.1 billion KRW and 233.1 billion KRW respectively.
The number of sectors rising and falling was roughly balanced. The largest gains were seen in textiles and apparel (1.69%), paper and wood (1.18%), and construction (0.96%), while machinery (-1.23%), transportation equipment (-0.80%), and services (-0.51%) declined.
The KOSDAQ showed a more stable trend. At the same time, it recorded 1017.88, up 0.57% from the previous trading day. After a slightly firm start at 1013.47, it appears to be gradually expanding its gains.
In the KOSDAQ market, foreigners and individuals were net buyers of 43.3 billion KRW and 63.7 billion KRW respectively. Institutions were net sellers of 85.5 billion KRW.

Most sectors were on the rise. The order of gains was information devices (2.65%), textiles and apparel (1.65%), and pharmaceuticals (1.43%). Broadcasting services (-1.44%) and general electric and electronics (-1.00%) declined.
