Police Conclude No Charges Against Park Narae in 'Sexual Harassment Controversy'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The police have concluded that comedian Park Narae, who was embroiled in a sexual harassment controversy through a YouTube broadcast, is not guilty.
According to the police on the 28th, the Gangbuk Police Station in Seoul decided not to prosecute Park, who was accused of illegal information distribution under the Information and Communications Network Act.
The police judged, based on precedents, that Park could not be seen as engaging in obscene acts, and plan to dismiss the related accusation as no charge by the end of the day.
The police received a complaint through the National Petition System in April requesting an investigation into Park for illegal information distribution under the Information and Communications Network Act and began an investigation.
