Use Financial Certificates for Post Office Internet Banking Too

The Korea Post under the Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 22nd that it has introduced a financial certification service that allows easy login and electronic financial transactions on Korea Post Internet Banking and Smart Banking (app) using a 6-digit number, fingerprint, pattern, etc.
Unlike existing certificates, it is automatically stored in the cloud, enabling access anytime and anywhere via PC or mobile. Since it automatically renews every 3 years, there is no need for annual renewal. It can be jointly used by financial institutions such as banks, insurance, securities, as well as government and public institutions.

Financial certificates issued by other financial institutions under the Korea Post umbrella can be used starting from the 23rd. The Korea Post’s own financial certificate issuance function will begin in September this year. The Korea Post had introduced the PASS certificate in February this year.
