US Texas 'Bulldog Yeodan' Rotates in Korea for 9-Month Mission...
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] On the 19th, the U.S. Eighth Army Headquarters announced that the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team (known as the Bulldog Brigade) under the 1st Armored Division, stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas, has been rotationally deployed to Korea since early this month.
The Bulldog Brigade consists of approximately 3,700 personnel and equipment such as M1 Abrams tanks, and is scheduled to support the U.S. Eighth Army, the 2nd Infantry Division, and the ROK-U.S. Combined Division in Korea for the next nine months.

The U.S. Forces Korea stated, "The Bulldog Brigade is the tenth armored brigade rotationally deployed to Korea. This deployment is part of the ongoing efforts across the entire U.S. Army to modernize and establish readiness for overseas deployed forces," adding, "Through rotational deployment to Korea, more U.S. troops can gain experience in the operational environment of the Korean Peninsula."
