He added, "Reading the Nanjung Ilgi does not make one Admiral Yi Sun-sin, nor does studying Baekbeom Ilji make one Baekbeom Kim Gu," emphasizing, "Study is completed not by knowledge but through life."

On that day, Yoon stayed at the library for about four hours, reviewing materials related to former President Kim. In the guestbook, he wrote, "I will deeply engrave the reflections and teachings of President Kim Dae-jung, who opened a new horizon for the Republic of Korea based on informatization and the value of human rights."
