Gyeonggi-do Conducts On-site Inspection of 'Disaster Risk Areas' in Preparation for Rainy Season
43 Sites of Provincial Disaster Prevention Projects
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province is conducting an 'Inspection of the First Half Disaster Prevention Project Implementation Status' ahead of the rainy season.
On the 16th, Gyeonggi Province stated, "The purpose is to protect the lives and property of residents through proactive response to heavy rains and recent abnormal weather events."
In particular, the focus will be on safety management of project sites and construction sites before the rainy season, with plans to execute more than 90% of this year's project budget.
The inspection targets include 10 natural disaster risk improvement district maintenance projects, 5 disaster risk reservoir maintenance projects, 2 steep slope collapse risk area maintenance projects, and 26 early warning system establishment projects, totaling 43 sites.
The key inspection items are project progress status, establishment of safety management measures at project sites, preparation of flood control measures for the rainy season, and project budget execution status.
