[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Son Seon-hee] Prime Minister Kim Boo-kyum gave an urgent order on the 9th regarding the building collapse accident that occurred in Hakdong, Dong-gu, Gwangju, saying, "Mobilize all available equipment and personnel to quickly rescue those buried and take all possible measures to minimize casualties."
The Office for Government Policy Coordination reported that Prime Minister Kim issued this urgent directive to heads of related agencies such as the Fire Agency and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on the same day.
He also instructed Minister Jeon Hae-cheol of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and Minister Noh Hyung-wook of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to "take safety measures to prevent additional damage."
