Discussion on Establishing the Gyeongnam-type Autonomous Police System on the 9th
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] The Gyeongsangnam-do Autonomous Police Committee held a meeting with the Gyeongnam Workplace Council on the afternoon of the 9th at the Gyeongsangnam-do Autonomous Police Committee meeting room.
At the meeting, Kim Hyuntae, Chairman of the Gyeongsangnam-do Autonomous Police Committee, along with the Secretary General and seven staff members of the Secretariat, and seven members of the Workplace Council including Kwon Younghwan, the representative of the workplace council in the province, attended.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the possibility of granting welfare benefits to autonomous police, ways to expand communication with field police officers, and internal and external promotion plans for the autonomous police.
Chairman Kim said, "For the successful implementation of the autonomous police system, the active participation of field police officers is most important," and added, "The Autonomous Police Committee will create a communication platform encompassing related organizations to seek cooperation measures."
