Gwangju University Introduces 'Vaccine Leave' for Faculty and Staff
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju University (President Kim Hyukjong) announced on the 8th that it will provide vaccine leave to faculty and staff who have received the COVID-19 vaccination.
The vaccine leave system was established to encourage participation in vaccination among professors and staff and to create a safe campus environment.
Faculty and staff who have received the COVID-19 vaccine can use two days of paid leave per dose. For vaccines requiring two doses, four days of paid leave will be granted.
