Gyeonggi-do's 'Baedal Teukgeup' Surpasses '300,000 Registered Members' in Just Six Months Since Launch
Advantages Such as Lower Brokerage Fees Compared to Private Delivery Apps
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province's public delivery app 'Baedal Teukgeup' has surpassed a total of 300,000 registered members just six months after its launch.
Gyeonggi Province Corporation, under Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 8th, "Baedal Teukgeup, which is serviced in a total of 14 cities and counties within the province, is showing a steady growth curve."
The company analyzed that the advantage of offering lower commission fees to small business owners compared to private delivery apps and various benefits based on local currency to consumers is driving membership registration.
Additionally, it is also analyzed that consumers, mainly members of mom cafes, empathized with Baedal Teukgeup's values of 'coexistence' and 'ethical consumption,' which contributed to this growth.
Baedal Teukgeup is scheduled to have a grand opening on the 9th in Guri City, the 15th service area.
The company plans to aggressively target the market starting this year by closely collaborating with local governments to conduct region-specific events and discount promotions.
