[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, convened a cadre consultation meeting ahead of the 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Party.
Korean Central News Agency reported on the 8th, "Comrade Kim Jong-un convened a consultation meeting with responsible cadres of the Party Central Committee and provincial Party committees at the Party Central Committee headquarters on the 7th."
The agency stated that at the consultation meeting, General Secretary Kim "understood and reviewed the urgent issues related to the national economic projects and ensuring the people's livelihood, and outlined important tasks for their implementation," and "expressed ideas to bring about a substantial turnaround in national economic projects and stabilization of people's livelihood through the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee."
