Construction of Veterans Hall ... Old Building Worth About 300 Million Won Donated Free of Charge to Uljin-gun
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-ho] Uljin County (County Governor Jeon Chan-geol) announced on the 2nd that it held a donation agreement ceremony for the old Uljin County Veterans Hall with three veterans organizations: the Korea Veterans Association Uljin County Branch, the Korea War Veterans Bereaved Families Association Uljin County Branch, and the Korea War Veterans Widows Association Uljin County Branch.
The old Uljin County Veterans Hall has been used as an office by the three veterans organizations for 26 years since 1995. After the completion of the new Uljin County Veterans Hall in December last year, while appraising the old hall (appraised value approximately 300 million KRW) and proceeding with compensation, the presidents and members of the three veterans organizations decided to donate the old hall to Uljin County unconditionally.
