Sinan-gun Reports One Additional COVID-19 Confirmed Case
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] One new case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Sinan, Jeonnam.
According to the county, a man in his 40s working at a facility in Aphae-eup tested positive on the 1st.
Sinan County is conducting comprehensive testing for employees and residents of the facility where the confirmed case works, and plans to quarantine the facility until the results are available.
The confirmed patient is scheduled to be transferred to Mokpo City Medical Center. Contact tracing is underway to identify additional movements, and emergency disinfection has been carried out at the workplace and other locations visited by the confirmed case.
County Governor Park Woo-ryang urged, "Please actively comply with quarantine rules such as social distancing and wearing masks at all times, refrain from visiting other regions such as the metropolitan area, and avoid unnecessary private gatherings and dinners."
