The city announced on the 28th that it is constructing a hydrogen charging station at 5050 Geoje-daero (Jangpyeong-dong 860-30,31).
The hydrogen charging station will cover an area of 3,452㎡ with a capacity of 25㎏/h, with a project cost of 3 billion KRW including 1.5 billion KRW in national funds. Construction began in April and is scheduled to be completed by the end of August, followed by safety inspections and test operations, with the opening expected by the end of October at the latest.

Mayor Byeon Gwang-yong stated, "Through the establishment of the hydrogen charging station, we will promote the private distribution of eco-friendly vehicles, resolve inconveniences for hydrogen vehicle users, actively participate in the government's carbon neutrality 2050 realization, and respond to building a future food base in line with the industrial paradigm shift."
