View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-gyeong] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 27th that it will conduct a 'Food Poisoning Prevention Diagnostic Consulting' to prevent hygiene accidents in school meals.
This consulting will be carried out from May to October for 11 schools, including those with suspected food poisoning patients, schools providing three meals a day, and schools with newly assigned nutrition teachers, in cooperation with the Gwangju Regional Food and Drug Administration.
The consulting team, composed of staff from the Provincial Office of Education, local education support offices, and the Gwangju Regional Food and Drug Administration, began the first consultation on the 27th at Mokpo Technical High School.
They visit school meal sites to conduct diagnostic consulting on the overall hygiene status and potential contamination from the stage of food ingredient inspection to storage, cooking, serving, and final consumption.
This year, the Gwangju Regional Food and Drug Administration will support with a rapid testing vehicle to perform simple hygiene tests on cooking utensils, workers, and cooked food, and customized hygiene education will also be provided to maximize the consulting effect.
