Gimhae City Implements Gyeongnam's First Contactless Large Waste Disposal System
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Gimhae City in Gyeongnam announced on the 26th that starting June 1, it will implement the first non-face-to-face large waste disposal system in Gyeongnam.
The disposal method involves installing the ‘Ppaegi’ app from the smartphone Play or App Store. Then, users take a photo of the item to be collected within the app, apply for the service, enter the disposal location, and pay the fee. After payment, the application number issued should be attached to the large waste and placed at the agreed disposal location, where the collection company will pick it up.
Previously, when disposing of large waste, it was inconvenient to directly coordinate with companies regarding time, items, location, and fees, but from June, the process is expected to become simpler.
