This event will promote sales using online platforms and publicity through Wanghong (網紅, online influencers). The event focuses on expanding K-FOOD's entry into the Chinese market, where exports to China are gradually increasing. Eight domestic companies specializing in healthy convenience foods, such as kids' meals, rice sticks, grain gangjeong, and protein shakes, which are gaining attention from Chinese consumers, will participate.
The participating domestic companies have no prior experience exporting to China and plan to test the reactions of local inland consumers through this event before fully entering the Chinese market.
KOTRA also plans to hold an online and offline Korean product promotion fair in September with Yangluogang (??港) Service Co., Ltd., located in the Huazhong Trade Service Zone in Wuhan. Yangluogang Service Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Wuhan Financial Group, the largest financial company in Hubei Province, and is constructing a business complex including a convention center and a Wanghong broadcasting base.
