Mipum rice, a new domestic rice variety cultivated in the Chungnam region, is one of the highest quality rice types selected by the Rural Development Administration. It is characterized by its rich taste, stickiness, small grains, and soft texture.
The Black Winner watermelon will be sold at all stores starting from the 27th. This new domestic watermelon variety was first introduced in June last year, and Lotte Mart was involved in all stages from seed selection to contract farming with excellent farms and in-store sales to discover this product. Last year, all 34,000 units prepared were sold out within just two weeks. Accordingly, this year the supply has been increased to about three times that of last year.

A Lotte Mart official said, "Considering the growing customer interest in domestic varieties, we continue to introduce domestic variety products that match trends and seasonal demand," adding, "Following rice and watermelon, we plan to introduce various domestic variety products such as apples, onions, and sweet potatoes."
