This inspection involved 7 teams of 50 officials from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and 21 city and county governments, who randomly selected about 100 religious facilities in the province to check compliance with quarantine rules.
As a result of the inspection, religious facilities in the province were generally operating in compliance with quarantine rules, and no violations were detected. Gyeongbuk Province explained that about 30 minor issues, such as failure to post quarantine rules at some small-scale religious facilities, were immediately corrected on site.
