9 Confirmed Cases in Gwangju with Unclear Infection Routes

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 22nd, as of 6 p.m. that day, nine people were confirmed positive within one day and were classified as cases 2685 to 2693.
Three were contacts of existing confirmed cases, one was related to a religious facility, and five had unknown infection routes.
The infection route of case 2685, a kindergarten student, was investigated to be related to a religious facility in Gwangsan-gu.
It is known that no comprehensive testing was conducted as the student had not attended kindergarten during the month.
Case 2686 was related to case 2640, who was confirmed positive on the 18th. The infection route of case 2640 is under investigation.
Cases 2687 and 2688 are family members of case 2671 and contacts of case 2672, respectively. Case 2688 was confirmed positive through comprehensive testing conducted after middle school student case 2672 was confirmed positive the previous day.
Case 2671, whose infection route is still unclear, tested positive in a test conducted before being admitted to the hospital the previous day.
