Hyundai Motor Asan Plant Halts Operations Again Due to Semiconductor Shortage... Closed from 24th to 26th
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Junhyung] Hyundai Motor Company will halt operations at its Asan plant production line for the third time this year due to the impact of the vehicle semiconductor supply shortage.
Hyundai Motor announced on the 21st that the Asan plant will be closed for three days from the 24th to the 26th. Only the Sonata and Grandeur production lines will be closed, while the automobile engine production line will operate normally.
Hyundai Motor estimated that this closure will cause a production disruption of about 3,000 units.
