View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Jeon Ho-hwan, president of Dongmyung University, received the Alumni Award from the Busan National University Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Alumni Association.
President Jeon, a member of the class of '77 at Busan National University, received the award on the 18th from Ryu Jae-sung, president of the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Alumni Association, in celebration of the university's 70th anniversary.
The Special Award was given to Shin Jong-gu, former president of Daedong Shipbuilding (class of '53), and the Merit Award was presented to Yang Bon-yong, former president of Daedong Shipbuilding (class of '62), Jang Myung-woo, former vice president of Hyundai Heavy Industries (class of '64), Cho Sung-je, chairman of BN Group (class of '66), and Yeo Hee-jin, CEO of Woosung Insulation Industry (class of '70).
Jeon Ho-hwan began his term as the 10th president of Dongmyung University on April 28, and his inauguration ceremony is scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. on May 27 at the Central Library.
