Eunpyeong-gu Hosts May Online 'Sopung' Event to Celebrate Family Month
In Celebration of Family Month in May, Event Held from May 17 to 28
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Eunpyeong-gu (Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) will hold an 'Online Picnic' from May 17 to 28 in celebration of Family Month in May.
The 'Picnic (Small Dinner, Happy Family Scenery)' program, which started in 2019, was designed to support residents' 'life with evenings' by visiting local living spaces such as neighborhood parks or apartment community areas to provide family-oriented activities. However, since last year, due to COVID-19, it has been held online using a dedicated website.
Hosted by the Eunpyeong-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center, the 'Online Picnic' for Family Month in May includes programs such as making carnation message pots in celebration of Parents' Day, personalized face painting for Children's Day, sending fragrances to spouses for Couples' Day, as well as parenting attitude tests and paper folding, allowing the entire family to participate together.
The 'Online Picnic' event runs with pre-registration and experience kit applications from May 17 to 20, followed by review submissions from May 26 to 28. Participation is possible by accessing and signing up on the 'Eunpyeong Family Picnic' website.
