Gasoline Price at 1,534.3 Won per Liter... Stable for 4 Consecutive Weeks
[Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] Gasoline prices at gas stations have remained steady for four consecutive weeks this week.
According to the Korea National Oil Corporation on the 8th, the retail price of gasoline at gas stations in the first week of May rose by 0.3 won from the previous week to 1,534.3 won per liter.
By brand, the average price at Altteul gas stations was the lowest at 1,508.7 won per liter, while SK Energy gas stations recorded the highest price at 1,541.1 won per liter.
The highest-priced region, Jeju, saw gasoline prices fall by 0.2 won from the previous week to 1,619.2 won per liter, which is 85.0 won higher than the national average price. The lowest-priced region, Daegu, saw gasoline prices drop by 0.3 won from the previous week to 1,510.0 won per liter, which is 24.3 won lower than the national average price.
Diesel prices at gas stations rose by 0.2 won from the previous week to 1,332.2 won per liter.
