Busan Metropolitan Office of Education Inspects Compliance with Quarantine Rules at Private Academies, Study Rooms, and Reading Rooms
As senior officials of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education began special quarantine inspections of academies, private institutes, and study rooms, on the 1st, Director Kim Kwang-su inspected an academy in Yeonje-gu.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Senior officials of the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education have directly engaged in inspecting quarantine measures in the academy districts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seok-jun) announced on the 4th that, to prevent and curb the spread of COVID-19, senior officials will conduct special quarantine inspections of academies, private tutoring centers, and reading rooms until May 11.
The special quarantine inspections involve checking compliance with basic quarantine rules at academies and are conducted to raise awareness among academy operators and users about strengthening quarantine management.
Senior officials visit academies directly to check whether the personnel limit of one person per 8㎡ of the permitted or reported facility area is being observed, and whether two-seat distancing is maintained.
They also inspect whether the personnel limit of one person per 4㎡ or one-seat distancing is enforced, and whether operations are suspended after 10 p.m.
Compliance with basic quarantine rules such as mask-wearing, symptom checks of entrants, disinfection, and ventilation is inspected, and the use of self-diagnosis apps by academy workers is encouraged.
Prior to this, Deputy Superintendent Oh Seung-hyun visited three academies in Haeundae-gu on April 26, Director of Education Bureau Kim Kwang-soo inspected three academies in Saha-gu on April 30 and one academy in Yeonje-gu on May 1, respectively, to check the implementation of basic quarantine rules at academy sites.
