Governor Won Hee-ryong: "In May, Family Month, We Must Create a Jeju Where No One Is Left Behind"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Park Chang-won] Won Hee-ryong, Governor of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, emphasized on the 3rd, "Let's create a Jeju where no one is left out in May, the month of family."
Governor Won made this statement during the 'May Communication and Empathy Day' held via video with public officials at 9 a.m. in his office.
Additionally, Governor Won called for ▲ the smooth progress of the second quarter COVID-19 vaccinations ▲ inspection of quarantine situations focusing on major contact points between tourist sites and residents' daily lives ▲ maintaining stable provincial administration through focused negotiation for national funding.
He said, "As COVID-19 has completely shaken our ordinary daily lives, we once again realize how important the community and family have played in our lives," adding, "There is still a long way to go to protect the safety and happiness of families and local communities."
