LH Appoints Yeom Ho-yeol as New Standing Auditor
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] LH announced on the 30th that it has appointed Yeom Ho-yeol (photo, 58), a former senior audit official at the Board of Audit and Inspection, as the new standing audit committee member. The term is two years.
New audit committee member Yeom graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Business Administration. After working at Samil Accounting Corporation and others, he began his public service career at the Board of Audit and Inspection in 2000, serving as head of Investigation Division 1 and 2 in the Special Investigation Bureau, head of Divisions 2 and 3 in the Finance and Economic Audit Bureau, and head of Division 4 in the Public Institution Audit Bureau.

LH explained, "Audit committee member Yeom plans to focus on strengthening internal controls within LH, establishing public service ethics and internal discipline, and restoring trust in internal audits based on his 22 years of public service experience at the Board of Audit and Inspection."
