[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] The LINC+ Project Group at Dong-Eui University (Director Lee Im-geon) is launching a joint startup camp with five universities in the Busan area.
On the 26th, Dong-Eui University announced that it will begin full-scale joint program operations according to the 2021 academic year program joint operation agreement recently discussed with the LINC+ Project Groups of universities in the Busan region.
Six LINC+ Project Groups in the Busan area, including Dong-Eui University, Dongmyung University, Dongseo University, Dong-A University, Pukyong National University, and Korea Maritime and Ocean University, signed the "2021 PIVOTING Online Startup Camp Joint Operation Agreement" on the 23rd at 5 p.m. in the Dong-Eui University LINC+ Project Group seminar room.
The six universities agreed to collaborate to achieve results from a new startup program based on Virtual Connect.
The camp, which will recruit participants from each university starting in May and run until August, will be conducted online. It consists of four courses (item discovery, government support project documentation, presentation skills, government support project presentation) and will be operated three times according to the characteristics of each participating university.
In addition to real-time online education, step-by-step close mentoring by professional startup mentors will be provided, along with sharing practical results by startup clubs and an online mock crowdfunding process to focus on educating startup item strategizing and commercialization potential.
Graduates of the course will receive ongoing support to grow into innovative and enterprising young entrepreneurs, including actual participation support for government support projects and competitions, as well as follow-up mentoring.
"PIVOTING" refers to the process of responding to rapid trend changes by establishing various hypotheses, continuously testing them, and agilely adjusting direction.
The purpose of this joint startup camp is for future prospective entrepreneurs to actively respond to the rapidly changing new normal era, seize market opportunities, and develop practical startup capabilities such as discovering business items and writing business proposals.
Last year, the six Busan-area university LINC+ Project Groups jointly operated a Start-UP real-time startup idea discovery program and provided step-by-step startup portfolio composition education.
This year, they plan to further advance this to cultivate innovative startup talents who can respond to future society and technological and service innovations.
