Hana Financial Investment, 500 Billion KRW Rights Offering
[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] Hana Financial Investment announced on the 22nd that it has decided to conduct a 500 billion KRW rights offering to raise operating funds.
Hana Financial Group, which currently holds 100% of the shares, will be allocated 7.45 million common shares at 67,100 KRW per share.
The capital secured through the rights offering will be used to promote growth strategies such as strengthening the competitiveness of the Investment Banking (IB) division, accelerating digital innovation, and expanding global channels.

Hana Financial Investment stated, "This capital increase is aimed at securing mid- to long-term growth competitiveness in the competition among the 'Top 5' securities firms with over 5 trillion KRW in equity capital," and "while actively investing in digital, information technology, and risk management infrastructure, we will also expand investments, products, and services related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) to strengthen a sustainable management system."
