View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Yoon Hojung, floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea and emergency response committee chairman, stated on the 20th, "It is a necessary time to introduce self-test kits to detect asymptomatic infected individuals as quickly as possible and to restore daily life even one day earlier."
At the floor countermeasure meeting held at the National Assembly that morning, Yoon said, "We will consider utilizing self-test kits for the recovery of daily life. We are discussing conditional approval of self-test kits with the government."
He added, "I hope the government will comprehensively consider all aspects, promptly decide on utilization plans, and explain them to the public."
Regarding the appointment of the newly launched 2nd floor leadership team, he said, "The 2nd floor leadership team will prioritize the lives of the people and operate a parliament focused on livelihood issues," and added, "We will pursue cooperative politics based on the principles of parliamentary democracy."

Addressing the opposition parties, Yoon urged, "I hope the opposition will move away from unconditional criticism and create a cooperative parliament together," and emphasized, "We will look at the public's perspective and diverse demands and start with the most urgent matters. I sincerely hope we can also discuss real demand-centered real estate measures."
