Daegu City and Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center Sign Business Agreement for 'Daegu Photo Biennale'

Through this agreement, Daegu Dongsan Hospital will hold the 'Photo Wall Project' and 'COVID-19 Photo Exhibition' at the hospital and other locations during the Daegu Photo Biennale period, and Daegu City will invite Dongsan Medical Center faculty and staff to major performances at the Culture and Arts Center.
The signing ceremony will be attended by Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin, Keimyung University President Shin Il-hee, Dongsan Medical Center Director Lee Se-yeop, Daegu Dongsan Hospital Director Seo Young-sung, and Daegu Photo Biennale Artistic Director Shim Sang-yong, among others.
During the 8th Daegu Photo Biennale, which will be held from September 10, Daegu Dongsan Hospital will carry out the 'Photo Wall Project' around Daegu Dongsan Hospital and Cheongra Hill.
This project is a Daegu-style New Deal art project involving many photographers and urban designers, covering the exterior walls of buildings in the city with large-scale photographs, allowing all citizens to enjoy high-quality Biennale exhibits. It is a representative program of this Daegu Photo Biennale.

Daegu Mayor Kwon Young-jin emphasized, "Daegu Dongsan Hospital faithfully performed its role as a dedicated quarantine hospital when COVID-19 rapidly spread," adding, "Along with the successful hosting of the Daegu Photo Biennale, we will expand the great civic spirit that overcame COVID-19 and enhance urban vitality through a cultural resurgence in daily life."
