Porsche AG Sells 71,986 Vehicles Globally in Q1, Up 36% Year-on-Year
China Market Growth Rate 56%... Leading the Growth Trend
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Porsche AG announced on the 19th that it sold 71,986 units worldwide in the first quarter, a 36% increase compared to the same period last year.
By model, the Macan recorded the highest sales with 22,458 units, followed by the Cayenne with 19,533 units. The iconic Porsche sports car 911 was delivered 9,133 units, and the Porsche Taycan saw 9,072 units delivered.
By region, China showed the highest sales for a single market with 21,991 units, a 56% growth compared to the same period last year. The Asia-Pacific, Africa, and Middle East regions increased by 46% to 32,129 units, and the United States showed a 45% increase to 17,368 units, demonstrating strong growth. Europe and Germany also recorded increases of 16% and 14%, with 19,389 units and 5,957 units respectively.
