Dobong-gu Provides 35 Masks Per Person to Economically Vulnerable Groups
Basic Livelihood Security Recipients and Near-Poverty Class Receive 35 Sheets Per Person, Distributed to 19,142 People
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dobong-gu (Mayor Dongjin Lee) will provide MFDS-certified KF94 masks to protect low-income groups facing difficulties in purchasing quarantine supplies from disasters such as COVID-19 and fine dust.
The support targets 19,142 basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income households, with 35 masks per person to be sequentially delivered to each household through bank accounts starting from the 19th.
Mayor Dongjin Lee of Dobong-gu said, “I hope this mask distribution will help protect the health of vulnerable groups from COVID-19 and fine dust and reduce their economic burden,” adding, “As indoor mask-wearing is now mandatory, I urge everyone to wear masks to help prevent COVID-19.”
