LG CNS-AhnLab Join Forces to Target Cloud Security Market

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] LG CNS has joined hands with AhnLab to target the cloud security market.
LG CNS announced on the 18th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cloud security business cooperation with AhnLab on the 16th at LG CNS headquarters in Magok, Seoul.
The two companies will jointly develop cloud-specialized security packages and promote cloud security business including cloud security technology cooperation.
LG CNS has experience in cloud security business across various industries such as manufacturing, finance, telecommunications, chemicals, and aviation, while AhnLab has accumulated 20 years of security threat response technology and know-how.
LG CNS and AhnLab plan to strengthen cloud security synergy through the exchange of professional personnel.
Recently, LG CNS established a 'Red Team' composed of white-hat hackers. AhnLab operates the 'AhnLab Security Emergency response Center (ASEC)' which discovers and responds to new malware through monitoring.
Going forward, the Red Team white-hat hackers and ASEC will collaborate to conduct simulated penetration tests and pre-inspect security vulnerabilities in client cloud systems. Afterwards, they plan to devise solutions for security threats to defend client cloud systems.
Hyun Shinkyun, Vice President of LG CNS DTI Business Division, said, "Together with security specialist AhnLab, we will build a close technical cooperation ecosystem to provide cloud security services that customers can trust."
