Haenam-gun Supports Repairs for 189 Housing Units of Housing Benefit Recipients
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 16th that it will officially implement the Repair Maintenance Benefit Project, which supports housing repairs to stabilize housing and improve the quality of life for households receiving the National Basic Livelihood Security housing benefits.
To this end, Haenam-gun recently signed a consignment agreement for the 2021 Repair Maintenance Benefit Project with the dedicated agency, Korea Land and Housing Corporation Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Headquarters.
This project targets housing benefit recipients with a median income of 45% or less who live in owner-occupied houses, providing support based on the recipient's recognized income and the housing's aging level: minor repairs up to 4.57 million KRW, moderate repairs up to 8.49 million KRW, and major repairs up to 12.41 million KRW.
This year, with a budget of 1.48 billion KRW, customized home repairs will be carried out for a total of 189 households according to the housing aging level identified through housing surveys.
