Yogiyo Launches Eco-Friendly Campaign to Celebrate Earth Day
Emphasizing the Importance of Proper Plastic Separation and Recycling
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Delivery Hero Korea (CEO Kang Shin-bong) announced on the 8th that it will hold the 'Clean Recycle' campaign on the delivery application (app) Yogiyo on the 22nd in celebration of 'Earth Day.'
This campaign was planned to widely promote the proper separation and disposal of recyclable materials and the importance of resource recycling. HiteJinro and the global recycling consulting company TerraCycle are collaborating, and the plastics collected through the campaign will be made into 'upcycling goods' and gifted back to consumers.
Before the official start of the campaign, a preliminary event to encourage consumer participation will be held from the 12th. Customers who participate in the 'Eco-friendly Index Test' will receive a small prize. The main campaign will be conducted through an event banner within the Yogiyo app on the 22nd. A total of 3,000 participants will be recruited in three rounds, with 1,000 people per round, until early July.
Selected participants will separate delivery containers, PET bottles, cans, etc., into the box delivered to the registered address, then apply for collection using the QR code inside the box. All participants will receive campaign goods prepared jointly by HiteJinro and Yogiyo. Additionally, for each campaign round, three 'Collection Kings (Clean Kings)' who separate the largest amount of plastic correctly will receive special gifts.
