Dongkuk Steel, Joins 'GoGo Challenge' to Practice 'De-plastic' Initiative
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Dongkuk Steel announced that it has joined the eco-friendly campaign "GoGo Challenge" organized by the Ministry of Environment.
The GoGo Challenge is a plastic-free movement initiated by the Ministry of Environment, where participants promise to give up one habit to avoid and adopt one habit to practice in daily life to reduce disposable products and plastic, and then nominate the next participant in an SNS relay challenge.
Participating in this challenge upon nomination by Hyundai Steel, Dongkuk Steel posted the phrase "Reduce plastic use, properly separate waste" on its official Instagram and pledged to practice it. Additionally, the company informed its employees about ways to reduce plastic use and proper waste separation rules through internal notices.
