Hana Bank and the Incheon Individual Taxi Association plan to provide financial benefits to improve the welfare and stabilize the lives of individual taxi operators. They will collaborate with NHN Korea Cyber Payment (NHN KCP), a card terminal provider, and the taxi call platform e-eum Call App to expand the number of taxi operators affiliated with the Incheon local currency e-eum card, thereby revitalizing the local currency.
Hana Bank offers financial services such as low-interest special guarantees and credit loans to stabilize the livelihoods of individual taxi operators whose income has decreased due to the impact of COVID-19. Quick financial service processing and consultations are available at all Hana Bank branches in the Incheon area. Through this MOU, additional business partnerships will be pursued to reduce taxi fare card payment fees and taxi call costs.
Through the partnership with NHN KCP, card terminals that provide benefits to small merchants will be supplied to reduce the burden of payment fees, and the use of the Incheon local currency e-eum card, which was previously unavailable in taxis, will become possible.
Additionally, through the partnership with the e-eum Call App, which provides taxi call services, all members of the Incheon Individual Taxi Association will receive a waiver of the e-eum Call service subscription fee. When using e-eum Call, passengers do not bear taxi call costs and can receive a 10% cashback on the amount used.
