Kyungbok University Selected as Construction Technology Training Institution
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University has been uniquely selected among universities nationwide as a 'Construction Technician Education and Training Agency' designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
On the 5th, Kyungbok University announced that it was appointed as a comprehensive education institution for construction technician education and training agency, entrusted by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport with tasks such as education management for construction technicians in accordance with the Construction Technology Promotion Act.
In addition to being designated as a construction technician education and training agency, Kyungbok University is also designated as a Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport certified drone specialized education institution, and is entrusted with operating lifelong vocational education institutions such as Dongbu Technical Training Center and Seongnae Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.

Meanwhile, Kyungbok University recorded the highest integrated employment rate among metropolitan area universities (with over 2,000 graduates) for four consecutive years from 2017 to 2020, according to the Ministry of Education. It also ranked first nationwide in employment rate among four-year universities and junior colleges (with over 2,000 graduates) in 2020.
