4·7 By-Election Early Voting Rate '5.38% at 2 PM on First Day'

The National Election Commission announced on the 2nd that the early voting turnout rate for the April 7 by-elections was recorded at 5.38% as of 2 PM.
Out of 12,161,624 registered voters, 654,456 had completed voting in the early voting that started at 6 AM that day.
In the Seoul mayoral by-election, 474,589 people voted, confirming an early voting rate of 5.63%.
In the Busan mayoral by-election, 151,509 people participated, showing an early voting rate of 5.16%.
At the same time on the first day of early voting during last year's 21st general election, the turnout rate was 5.98%, which was higher than this election.

Early voting will continue until the 3rd. Voting is possible from 6 AM to 6 PM. Polling station locations can be checked in election brochures and on the National Election Commission website.
