Oh appeared early at 8 a.m. in front of crosswalk exit 5 of Gwanghwamun Station in Jongno-gu, Seoul, wearing the party's red baseball jumper and dress shoes. He continuously greeted commuters, shouting, "Hello, please take care of me!" Unlike the early hectic days of campaigning when he moved around with a hoarse voice, he faced citizens with a relaxed demeanor that day.
Although the crowd was not large due to the busy commuting hours, he occasionally received cheers from passing citizens. Jeon Bok-su (60), a Jongno resident who supports Oh, said, "I saw candidate Oh on my way to work and came to see him. He has a very good and trustworthy impression," expressing affection by adding, "Although there were several unfavorable incidents during his tenure as Seoul mayor, I think he managed the city quite well." On the other hand, among the young people in their 20s and 30s passing through the Gwanghwamun area that day, few showed interest in candidate Oh.
Campaign music and placards also appeared at the scene that day. From the campaign vehicle, trot songs like "Oh Se-hoon is coming~ to the beloved citizens~" played. Oh also waved a placard featuring his official poster toward the citizens.
