According to the Jeju Maritime Police Station on the 1st, around 8:15 p.m. on the 31st of last month, crew member A, who was moving onshore to work on fishing nets from a fishing vessel moored at the fishing vessel dock in Hallim Port, Hallim-eup, Jeju City, fell into the sea.
Upon receiving the report, the Jeju Coast Guard dispatched the Hallim Police Substation rescue team, who safely rescued A and handed him over to the waiting 119 ambulance team.
It is known that foreign crew member B, who was on the same fishing vessel at the time of the accident, immediately jumped into the sea to save A who had fallen into the water and was protecting him with a lifebuoy.
