Hapcheon-gun Launches 'Together Sharing Housing' (Half-Price Rent for Empty Houses) Project... Recruiting Tenants for Vulnerable Residents
Supports up to 80% of remodeling costs, max 15 million KRW (50% provincial subsidy, 50% county subsidy)
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 29th that it will promote the ‘2021 Together Sharing Housing Project,’ which rents out vacant houses in the area at half price.
The county is expanding the project after supplementing issues following the pilot implementation of Gyeongsangnam-do’s ‘Vacant House Utilization Half-Price Rental Housing Project,’ which targeted vacant houses that could cause social problems such as aesthetic deterioration and crime-prone areas.
Houses applying for this rental project will receive up to 15 million KRW (50% provincial funds, 50% county funds) covering 80% of remodeling costs after an on-site inspection.
The selection of rental houses will be determined based on factors such as facility aging, rental feasibility, remodeling possibility, and appropriateness of investment costs.
