"Sold Out in 30 Minutes"... 'Tous Les Jours Gyochon Croquette' Surpasses 200,000 Units in 1 Week After Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Tous Les Jours, operated by CJ Foodville, is experiencing a surge in popularity with the launch of 'Gyochon Pumeun Ttuju Croquette,' a collaboration with Kyochon.
CJ Foodville announced on the 29th that 200,000 units of 'Gyochon Pumeun Ttuju Croquette' were sold within one week of its release. Released on the 19th, this product set the record for the fastest and highest sales since the launch of the Tous Les Jours brand. It broke the previous record set by the 'Sunjin Milk Series,' released as a New Year's product in January, within two months. At this pace, sales are expected to surpass 1 million units within a month.
'Gyochon Pumeun Ttuju Croquette' combines the secret sauces from Kyochon Chicken's signature Kyochon Series and Red Series, chicken generously filled inside the croquette, and a rice crunch topping on the croquette's exterior that provides an even crispier texture.
The ‘Gyochon Half & Half Croquette Set,’ which includes two flavors of croquettes in one box, is receiving favorable reviews. The packaging, reminiscent of a Kyochon Chicken box, gives customers the joy of buying half-and-half chicken at a bakery. CJ Foodville explained that customers have even inquired, “Does Tous Les Jours sell chicken?” upon seeing the boxes displayed in stores.
There is an ongoing sold-out frenzy. When the product is displayed in stores around 10 a.m., it sells out within 30 minutes, with some customers arriving early to wait in line.

A Tous Les Jours representative said, “There are countless cases of collaboration between different brands, but to avoid being a one-time fleeting topic, the product’s completeness must be supported. We spent several months enhancing the taste and quality with this strategy.” They added, “We will continue to devote efforts to product research and development to meet customers’ expectations and to produce successive hit products such as cakes, brownies, Cheese Bangakgan, Melona Icebox, and Nanan Cake.”
