Kim Byungsoo, CEO of Nonghyup Hanaro Distribution, said, "Although the spread of highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI) has somewhat slowed and production in egg-producing areas is recovering, causing egg prices to decline, the price of a carton of eggs is still around 7,000 KRW, which remains a burden for consumers. We will actively participate in the 'Let's Buy Agricultural Products with Discounts' consumer coupon event hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to reduce consumer burden and contribute to stabilizing egg prices."
