LG Innotek Provides 650 Million KRW Support for Children and Youth in Care Blind Spots

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Innotek announced on the 26th that it will donate 650 million KRW annually to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to support children and adolescents struggling due to COVID-19.
On the same day, LG Innotek held a sponsorship ceremony at the Children’s Foundation building in Jung-gu, Seoul, attended by Jo Baek-su, Head of Management Support, and Hong Chang-pyo, Vice Chairman of the Foundation. The donation will be used for online education support for children and adolescents in blind spots of care due to COVID-19, remodeling of aging classrooms, and provision of supplies.
Hong Chang-pyo, Vice Chairman of the Foundation, said, “There are concerns about the academic gap among vulnerable youth due to school closures caused by COVID-19. LG Innotek, which is actively supporting through donations and talent donations, is a great help.”
