Incheon Airport Successfully Concludes Online Seminar Celebrating 20th Anniversary of Opening
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 25th that it successfully concluded an online seminar held to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Incheon Airport's opening, inviting overseas travel agency representatives.
The online seminar, held over three days from the 23rd to today, was themed 'Fly Again with Incheon Airport' and was planned to communicate with travel agencies worldwide facing difficulties due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Approximately 700 employees from 400 travel agencies across 15 countries including the Americas, Japan, China, and Southeast Asia participated, demonstrating travel agencies' strong interest in Incheon Airport.
During the six sessions conducted by region, the seminar provided overseas travel agencies with information on Incheon Airport and airlines' quarantine efforts for safe air travel, as well as Incheon Airport's immigration and transfer procedures. It also listened to on-site voices regarding the difficulties and challenges faced by the travel industry.
Kim Kyung-wook, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, “Going forward, Incheon International Airport Corporation will actively take the lead in establishing a foundation for demand recovery by cooperating with partners in the aviation and travel industries to overcome the COVID-19 crisis together.”
