His total assets increased by 2.8 billion KRW over one year, reaching 16.5 billion KRW. Kim is scheduled to retire next month.
According to the "2021 Regular Asset Changes of Senior Government Officials" disclosed by the Government Official Ethics Committee through the official gazette on the 25th, Kim reported assets totaling 16.53123 billion KRW, an increase of 2.80143 billion KRW compared to last year.
Kim's total assets are the highest among 1,885 senior government officials.
He owns two apartments: one jointly owned with his spouse, a 207.82㎡ apartment in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, valued at 2.638 billion KRW, and another personally owned 127.81㎡ apartment in Songpa-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, valued at 1.039 billion KRW. The Samseong-dong apartment increased by 710 million KRW and the Songpa-dong apartment by 143 million KRW over the past year. His spouse owns land worth approximately 1.4 billion KRW in Beopwon-eup and Wollong-myeon areas of Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do.
