View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the number of new COVID-19 cases reported in Seoul from midnight to 9 p.m. on the 23rd was provisionally counted at 131.
Compared to the same time frame, this is 39 more cases than the previous day (22nd), which had 92 cases, and 15 more than the same day last week (16th), which had 116 cases. The total number of cases for the entire day was 97 on the 22nd and 120 on the 16th.
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul has consistently remained below 150 since the 18th of last month (180 cases). The average daily number of cases over the past fifteen days (8th to 22nd) was 121.
