Yeosu City Promotes "Post Office Shopping Mall Si Brand Hall Entry Application"
City Agricultural and Specialty Products Exhibition Discount Coupons, Various Benefits Including Affiliate Shopping Mall Online Promotions
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu City (Mayor Kwon Oh-bong) announced on the 23rd that it is recruiting vendors for the Yeosu City Brand Pavilion in the Post Office Shopping Mall throughout the year.
Based on last year's achievement of investing 12 million KRW in budget and achieving sales of 560 million KRW, Yeosu City plans to expand the number of vendors and product categories this year to vigorously revitalize the Yeosu Brand Pavilion.
The city brand pavilion is an online agricultural and marine specialty products store established within the Post Office Shopping Mall through an agreement with the Post Office since last year to support producers (companies) of agricultural and marine specialty products who have faced difficulties securing sales channels due to COVID-19.
The city brand pavilion is open to producers, production groups, manufacturers, and distributors of agricultural, marine, livestock products, processed foods, and health functional foods. To participate, vendors must first be registered in the Post Office Shopping Mall.
To register in the Post Office Shopping Mall, applicants must submit an application form, a copy of their business registration certificate, a copy of their mail-order sales report, and other necessary documents via email or postal mail to the Post Office.
After registering products in the Post Office Shopping Mall and entering the city brand pavilion, vendors can receive discount coupons during various promotional events, enjoy free production of detailed product pages, and benefit from online promotions through affiliated shopping malls.
A city official stated, "There are many cases where vendors have applied to enter the Yeosu City Brand Pavilion but have not been registered in the Post Office Shopping Mall, or registered vendors in the Post Office Shopping Mall have not entered the Yeosu City Brand Pavilion," and urged participating companies considering expanding their online sales channels to show great interest and participation.
